Geometallurgy: the key to unlocking value.
Geometallurgy is becoming more prominent as companies recognise the benefits to be gained in matching the process plant to the expected ores. Studies are on-going at a variety of operating mines, and the lessons learned are being applied in studies to tailor processing and mining facilities to the life-of-mine ore types to optimise process flowsheet and economic benefits. This presentation will set the scene of the current general industry status and introduce the geometallurgy concepts to be explored in more detail throughout the Masterclass.
